HeyYa carts look like golf carts, but they're registered, plated low-speed vehicles, upgraded with the equipment needed for permitted city streets.

Every road-legal HeyYa vehicle carries $10 million in third-party liability coverage under ICBC, subject to policy terms. HeyYa is proud to partner with the Vancouver Goldeneyes and has supported sporting events, productions, community events and large development sites.

Are HeyYa carts street-legal?

Yes. HeyYa rents street-legal low-speed electric vehicles. You must follow applicable local road rules and operating boundaries, which can vary by location.

How old do drivers need to be?

HeyYa requires rental drivers to be at least 25 years old and to have a valid driver's licence and credit card.

Can I choose my pickup location?

Yes. The booking system lists participating pickup locations and availability for your selected dates.

Are these guided tours?

No. The standard rentals are self-guided so you can explore at your own pace and within permitted operating areas.

What happens if the weather changes?

Our carts have roofs to provide shade from the sun and protection from rain, and they are equipped with windshield wipers when needed. If you'd rather cancel before your rental starts, we'll offer you a full refund.
