Make time together count
Four, six and eight-seat carts mean the journey can be shared, not divided between vehicles or schedules.
Too many city outings become a choice between walking farther than you'd like, splitting up into cars or rushing from one stop to another. HeyYa was created to make the moments between destinations a little more memorable.
See what you can do

Founded in British Columbia and led by CEO Tasha Maynard, HeyYa began offering street-legal electric cart rentals in Vancouver in 2024 and expanded to Victoria in 2025. The bright blue vehicles may look like golf carts, but they are registered low-speed electric vehicles designed for permitted roads.
People come to HeyYa for different reasons. Some want to see a city with friends or family. Others need vehicles for event crews, film productions, venue operations or a community project. We believe the most useful vehicle is often the one that's right-sized for the task.
HeyYa is a woman-owned, Canadian-owned and operated business, participates in Biosphere Committed, and has a particular affection for the communities it serves.
We want urban adventures and practical local transportation to be more enjoyable and less wasteful.
Four, six and eight-seat carts mean the journey can be shared, not divided between vehicles or schedules.
Not every short trip needs a full-sized car or van. A smaller, fully electric vehicle can be a practical choice on approved roads and sites.
Our business has supported local festivals, community events, cultural organizations and neighbourhood experiences across British Columbia.
We are proud to participate in our tourism communities and grateful to the businesses that host HeyYa pickup locations. Availability and pickup instructions are confirmed during booking.
Partner websites are independently operated. A listed location does not guarantee a cart is available there for every reservation.

We're proud of the carts moving through Vancouver and Victoria for fun, but they're also useful behind the scenes. Event organizers, producers, community groups and property teams have all found opportunities for electric carts to make their days work better.
We continue to advocate for sensible rules that recognize safe, properly insured low-speed vehicles. Driver-guided passenger services require separate licensing, and we do not present them as an approved public offering.
