Meet the fleet

Room for your people.

Four seats for a smaller crew, six seats for the friends you shouldn't leave behind, or eight seats to bring everyone along. All three are fully electric, street-legal low-speed vehicles with operating restrictions. Every HeyYa cart is less than 4 feet wide and less than 6 feet 6 inches tall, making the fleet easier to manoeuvre and stage in tight spaces.

Important to know

Smaller than a car. Still a real road vehicle.

HeyYa carts are classified as low-speed neighbourhood zero-emission vehicles. They look like golf carts, but have been upgraded in power and safety to meet the requirements for street use:

  • Seat belts
  • Daytime running lights
  • High and low beam headlights
  • Turn signals & hazard lights
  • A horn
  • Laminated glass windshield & wipers
  • Rear- and side-view mirrors
  • Emergency brake
  • Licence plates & vehicle insurance

They are not permitted on every road, path, bridge or park area. City-specific rules are on the Vancouver and Victoria pages.
