Customer Service Representative – HeyYa Rentals (Victoria, BC)

HeyYa Rentals is launching in downtown Victoria, and we’re looking for three enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives to join our team for the 2025 season (April–September). If you love meeting new people, providing top-tier customer service, and working in a fun, dynamic environment, this is the job for you!

This is a seasonal position (April–September), but there may be opportunities to transition into a permanent part-time or full-time role if mutually desired. Opportunities may also be available to transfer to other HeyYa locations in different cities, as we are expanding rapidly across Canada.

About HeyYa Rentals

We provide a fun, eco-friendly way to explore the city with our fleet of electric, street-legal golf carts—our HeyYa Carts! As we expand into Victoria, we need friendly, customer-focused individuals to help visitors and locals experience the city in a whole new way.

Position Details

• Hiring for: 3 positions
• Location: Downtown Victoria, BC
• Compensation: $18/hour + bonuses
• Employment Type: Full-time (seasonal)
• Schedule: Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with bookings, payments, and rental policies
• Explain how to safely operate our electric HeyYa Carts
• Answer questions and provide insider tips on Victoria and Oak Bay’s best spots
• Ensure carts are clean, charged, and ready for rentals
• Drive an electric scooter to assist customers or complete quick tasks
• Work primarily indoors but be comfortable handling some outdoor tasks
• Handle customer inquiries and minor troubleshooting (bonus if you have mechanical or electrical skills!)

What We’re Looking For

• A friendly, outgoing personality—you love making people smile!
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Very familiar with Victoria & Oak Bay (knowing hidden gems is a plus!)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with both indoor and outdoor responsibilities
• A valid driver’s license (must provide a driver’s abstract)
• Comfortable driving an electric scooter
• Experience working in vehicle rentals is an asset
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team
• Bonus: Mechanical or electrical skills for basic cart maintenance
